We are delighted to announce that our esteemed member, Shri Babuji Bathery, has been honored with the Artist Keshavan Smaraka Puraskaram for his exceptional contributions to stage drama. This prestigious award recognizes his outstanding and exceptional contributions to stage drama, particularly for his remarkable translation, scriptwriting, and direction of the renowned Shakespearean play Othello & Macbeth into Malayalam.

Through his artistic endeavors, particularly in directing light and sound shows, Shri Babuji Bathery has left an indelible mark on the cultural life of the Malayali community in Kuwait. 

His notable works such as “Governor Peelathose”, “Neethimanthesimhasanam”,  “Oru Vadakkan Veerakatha” Othallo”, “Macbeth” and Santa Redeemer ( Light & Sound Show ) stand as a testament to his creative excellence and dedication. He has composed numerous drama songs for professional dramas.

As members of KMRM, we take immense pride in his achievements and are honored to have him as a part of Kuwait Malankara Rite Movement . His recognition underscores the vibrant cultural contributions of our members and the impact of our collective efforts.
