On March 12, 2025, at 7:00 PM, members of the KMRM Central Managing Committee & Advisory Board accompanied by KMRM Spiritual Director Rev. Dr. Thomas Kanjiramukalil, visited Bishop Aldo Berardi O.SS.T., the Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia (AVONA) at the Bishop's House in Holy Family Co-Cathedral, Kuwait City.
This visit was part of the newly elected Central Managing Committee’s initiative to introduce its newly appointed office bearers for the current year to get the blessings and guidance of his Excellency.  

Rev. Dr. Thomas Kanjiramukalil welcomed Bishop Aldo Berardi and explained the purpose of the visit. Then after, KMRM President, Mr. Shaji Varghese, gave a brief address about the Kuwait Malankara Rite Movement (KMRM), outlining its activities and vision. Each CMC member introduced themselves, and former KMRM President and Ex-Officio, Mr. Babuji Bathery, provided an overview of KMRM’s 31-years history, highlighting its role as the representative body of the Malankara Catholic Community in Kuwait. Senior Vice President, Mr. George Mathew, emphasized that KMRM is a pastoral group and provided insights into the circumstances that led to its formation and growth over the past 31 years.

The meeting was highly fruitful. Bishop Aldo Berardi expressed his gratitude for the visit and appreciated   Malankara Community for its dedication and loyalty to the Vicariate. He expressed his happiness for the liturgical and social initiatives carried out by KMRM and assured his continued support, prayers and blessings for the Malankara Community in Kuwait. He also conveyed his deep respect and cooperation with His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos, the Father and Head of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church.

The meeting lasted for over an hour. At the conclusion, KMRM General Secretary, Mr. Jomon Cherian, expressed sincere gratitude to Bishop Aldo Berardi for his valuable time. On behalf of the Malankara Community in Kuwait, he reaffirmed KMRM’s unwavering commitment and loyalty to the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia and its shepherd, Bishop Aldo Berardi. The newly elected committee members also humbly requested the Bishop’s prayers and blessings for their tenure.
