about Salmiya Area
There are 4 Catholic Parishes in Kuwait. St. Thérèse Church is situated in the very heart of the Indian community of Salmiya. The Church which was inaugurated a Chapel IN 1974. The "new" extended Chapel with annexe was inaugurated and blessed by H.L. Bishop Francis Micallef on Friday, 8th June, 2001.
On 28th July, 2006, following a Decree by His Lordship Bishop Camillo Ballin, MCCI, Vicar Apostolic of Kuwait, the name of the Holy Redeemer Chapel was changed to "Church of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus", at the same time formally erecting it into a Parish.
Now Kuwait Vicariate have total 4 Parish. They are in Kuwait City, Ahmadi, Salmiya and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.

- Our Lady of Arabia Parish, Ahmadi
- St. Thérèse Parish, Salmiya
- St. Daniel Comboni Parish, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh
St. Therese Pairsh is one of the above mentioned churches located in Salmiya. On Parish basis KMRM members are divided into Four Areas.
Now a days, Salmiya Area have Two Sectors and each Sector sub-divided into Kudumba Koottayma as shown below:

In Salmiya Parish, Malankara Holy Qurbono celebrating every Third Mondays. Kids have Malankara Catechism in every Fridays.
