Born on 22nd February 1982, Fr. Binoy Kochukarikathil (Thomas) was ordained on 2nd April 2008 by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos. He hails from Malankara Catholic Church, Valakom in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum and is incarnated also in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum. He secured his degrees in Philosophy and Theology from St. Mary's Malankara Seminary, Trivandrum. He took his B. A degree in Philosophy from Kerala University and M. A. degree in Syriac from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. From 2012 to 2015 he taught Syriac in St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Trivandrum and St. John's Higher Secondary School, Nalanchira, Trivandrum. From 2012 to 2015 he served as the Director of MCYM in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum. He served as Assistant Vicar in the Malankara Churches at Thannithode, Manneera, Thekkuthode, Karimanthode and Elimullumplackal in the Diocese of Pathanamthitta. He served as Vicar of Dhanuvachapuram, Panayarackal, Panayammoola, Moonnammoodu, Manalayam, Pothencode, Koliyakode, and Kattayikonam in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum. He joined the Vicariate on 29th November as Assistant Parish Priest at St. Daniel Comboni Parish, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.

Fr. Binoy left the Vicariate of Kuwait on 22nd July 2019. We wish him God's abundant blessings in his priestly ministry.
